Massage Therapy
What is Massage Therapy?
Massage is one of the oldest, simplest forms of therapy and is a system of stroking, pressing and kneading different areas of the body which may help to relieve some muscular aches and pains. It may also work on the soft tissues (the muscles, tendons and ligaments). Although it largely affects those muscles just under the skin, it might also be beneficial on the deeper layers of muscles. Massage may also stimulate blood circulation and in some cases may also be beneficial with lymphatic drainage.
Massage therapy may help to reduce muscle fatigue.
